Little Red Riding Hood

By the Grimm brothers

There is a girl. Her name is Little Red Riding Hood. She is at home. One day, her mom says: “Little Red Riding Hood! Go quickly to your grandma’s house. Here is some soup for your grandma.”

Little Red Riding Hood goes to grandma’s house with the soup. She walks a long time! On the way, she sees a wolf.

“Hello, Little Red Riding Hood. Where are you going?” asks the wolf.

“Hello, Wolf. I am going to my grandma’s house. I have soup for my grandma.”

“Soup for your grandma! Yum… delicious!” says the wolf. “But be careful on the way, animals are dangerous.”

“Yes, I will be careful, good-bye!” she replies. Little Red Riding Hood goes on her way.

She arrives at a little house. It is her grandma’s house.

“Hello, Grandma,” says Little Red Riding Hood. She enters the house… but it is dark.

“Hello, Little Red Riding Hood,” says a deep voice.

Little Red Riding Hood finds it difficult to see her grandma in the dark.

“Grandma? Why is your voice so deep?” says Little Red Riding Hood.

“To better say hello to you,” says the voice.

“Grandma? Why are your arms so long?” says Little Red Riding Hood.

“To better embrace you,” says the voice.

“Grandma? Why are is your mouth so big?” says Little Red Riding Hood.

“To better eat you!” yells the voice.

The voice is not grandma’s. It is the wolf in disguise! The wolf tried to fool Little Red Riding Hood.

Little Red Riding Hood yells “No! You ate grandma!”

“Yes, and now I am going to eat you!” says the wolf.

At this moment, a man walks by the house. He hears the yelling. The man suspects that the Little Red Riding Hood is in danger! Immediately, he goes to the source of the yelling. He arrives at grandma’s house. He sees the tragic scene: a terrifying wolf is attacking Little Red Riding Hood! The man attacks the wolf with an ax. He opens his stomach with his ax. Finally, grandma is freed from the wolf’s stomach.

In shock, grandma says “Thank you!”

“Yes, thank you, sir,” says Little Red Riding Hood.

And that is the end of the horrible wolf.
