What?

We hope to make simple, low-cost training available to teachers of refugees, offering:

  • Free attendance to teachers of refugees for all in-person, live events and training.  We may request teachers pay for lunch and materials.
  • Free online Story Listening training for beginning teachers. Instruction is appropriate for those with limited background or volunteer teachers: covering the basics of Comprehension-Based Teaching. More details on the semester-long curriculum are available upon request.

Where?

Trainings include:

  • "Live" Events. Please contact us below to request free in-person training for larger groups in your community.
  • Online. Private online forms allow small-group exchanges and forums for questioning and reflecting as you try out the method in your classroom.  Groups are divided by language: English, French, and German.
