Dr. Beniko Mason and Dr. Stephen Krashen

This two-day workshop near Denver, Colorado will explain the how and why of Story Listening for second language acquisition. 

Dr. Beniko Mason of Shitennoji University in Japan is an accomplished researcher in the field of second language acquisition. Dr. Mason will present Story Listening, a method she developed and researched over many decades. Dr. Krashen will elaborate on the underlying theory,  Input Hypothesis, and it's implications for stories and reading.

This workshop will focus on giving you the WHY, HOW and WHAT of Story Listening. You will get a chance to see demonstrations of the method and how to prepare for using it in class. We will have a strong focus on hands on training and feedback. The goal is to send you back to your classroom ready to start using Story Listening.  Lunch will be provided.
